Job Title: Transportation Supervisor Company: Ascent Childrens Health Services Location: Arkadelphia, AR Description: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Drives and/or rides the van for both the morning and afternoon routes, unless another schedule has been previously agreed upon between the employee and the Clinic Director. Consistent attendance and punctuality are required in this position. Ensures the safety of all children transported by company vans by following, and ensuring employees under supervision follow, all laws regarding the transportation of children. All children 60 pounds or less will be restrained in a child safety seat at all times. Ensures all company vans are kept clean. Vans should be fully cleaned and washed at least twice a month. Maintains a separate route manifest for each company van which reflects all patients currently riding the van and their correct addresses and phone numbers. Ensures that patients are picked up from and delivered to the addresses on the manifests. Keeps manifests updated with the most current information possible to ensure that each child is picked up or dropped off at the correct address regardless of what staff member is on that van and parents can be reached by phone in case of an emergency.
