Job Title : Senior Construction Subcontracts Specialist (Transportation and Warehouse) Job Description : RTSC is seeking a Senior Construction Subcontracts Specialist (Transportation and Warehouse) who will report to the Manager of Subcontract Construction and be located in Burlington, MA. This is a key planning/execution position to perform and direct company and customer assets in provisioning to support multiple government and customer programs. The selected individual will be required to research, track, and/or identify solutions for transportation and warehouse of various assets, including sensitive electronic machinery. The Senior Transportation & Warehousing Specialist will coordinate and manage movement of inventory of RTSC material, customer electronics and ancillary equipment. Transportation requirements will be drawn from OEM and customer remote site warehouse facility to coordinate with construction efforts that RTSC is supporting. Individual will be responsible for accurately documenting all site supply transactions and maintaining site inventory that will be drawn from an inventory of over 5,000- warehouse assets, and providing customer service to all on-site personnel. This is a key strategic position and the goal will be to assure the selection and use of suppliers and logistical support are procured at the correct schedule to minimize schedule risk. Support is required to meet expectations of construction sites at various stages of completion. This position requires interfacing with project managers, site managers, supervisors, technicians and various Supply Chain Leads. Ability to lead and work within a team environment is essential. Experience in transportation and warehouse of high end electronics is required. The candidate must have knowledge and experience in Supply Chain process inclusive but not limited to experience in requisitions, purchase orders and subcontract placement in SAP, understanding of quality codes and requirements, knowledge and understanding of transportation and warehousing requirements, forms, and disciplines. The transportation coordinator will be based out of the transporation center located in Malden, MA, however will oversee transportation operations in the Andover, Methuen, Lawrence, and Haverhill areas.
