In Wisconsin out of the Milwaukee area the following position as Transportation Manager is open. The Transportation Manager is the center of activity when it comes to emptying of the drop boxes. The main duty of the Transportation Manager is to optimize the route driving by organizing the emptying well. All boxes shall be serviced in a timely manner, and costs shall be kept low. At the same time the Transport Manager shall with his communication skills, good spirit and initiative contribute to a positive and productive work environment. Responsibilities - To manage the emptying of drop boxes for the entire operation - Timely service of all boxes, from once every two weeks to 7 times a week - To deliver 24 hour service to our hosts - To optimize the yield of used clothing from the drop boxes, by planning good routes, having correct emptying frequency, keeping a good record of yield from each box etc. - To run a cost efficient operation - To plan the staffing of the week - To do your part to achieve the planned financial result of the operation - To analyze the profitability of the areas and routes and suggest improvements such as box relocation, removal etc. - To be the central point of communication for route drivers, contractors, and hosts - To manage relocation of boxes - To keep updated records of all drop boxes, routes, addresses etc. - To participate in hiring, training, evaluating, and terminating of drivers - To participate in hiring contractors and maintaining the contracts in the interest of the company - To participate in working with municipalities about permits etc. - Safety The Transportation Manager reports to the Division Manager.
