Job Title: Bulk Driver Company: Airgas Location: Cheyenne, WY Description: Job DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION:Drives class A-tractor tanker combination to transport cryogenic liquid oxygen, and nitrogen to assigned branches and customer locations. May also transport specialty industrial, medical gas cylinders and hard goods using a 45' tube type, flatbed, or van trailer to customer and inter-branch locations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:• Will comply with regulatory agency requirements, i.e. DOT, EPA, OSHA, FDA, et al.• Will comply with recommended and approved liquid transfer Safety Procedures.• Maintain load manifests and all other vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed and balanced with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveries.• Knowledge of hazards associated with gases and liquids exposed to.• Follow tractor / transport preventative maintenance schedules.• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.• Wear approved personal protective equipment when loading and unloading liquid transport.• Maintain appropriate drivers' license.• Complies with all highway laws and rules.MARGINAL DUTIES:• Full responsibility for tractor / transport assigned.• Documents and reports, immediately, all vehicle and equipment problems.• Must be punctual and comply with hourly work schedules.• Ensures all paperwork is completed, legible, signed and dated.• Perform other duties as required.Other Duties as Required: This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of this position.
